Description: This might be a good place to arrange to meet beforehand. It's isolated from the surrounding area, so you may be waiting in vain at night. There's no-one around then, and you'd be able to hear people coming for ages. The gates at the front look old, and probably don't close. The toilets have lockable gates, but it is unclear if they are ever actually locked.
The sign at the entrance gates says: "This site is located in a high-risk fire area and will be closed to the public on days of CODE RED fire danger" If it's hot, but you're not sure HOW hot, check before you drive out here. It's a total fire ban if it's 'severe', 'extreme' or Code Red, but the sign says the place is only closed on Code Red days. Check the CFA website...
