THIS AREA HAS BEEN CLEARED BY THE LOCAL COUNCIL. I came by a couple of days ago and council workers were just finishing the job of clearing the woods off the Nags Head Lane car park. The whole cruising area has been ripped out and leveled and is going to be landscaped as a beauty spot with benches etc. It may be that some areas at the rear may still be usable but BE AWARE that this clearance was made specifically to and I quote the workmen "Get rid of the Bummers" so it may well be checked more frequently for a while.
Although the woods have been cut back, some of the main cruising spots in the woods remain available.
The only thing to watch out, for now, is that as you walk from the car park, it is obvious that you are detouring into the woods, so just keep an eye out on who's about when you go in.
If you park and go straight ahead, there is a path leading to the left into the bushes and the original spots are still in use as before. If you then follow the long narrow path through the woods, it will lead to the other spots at the top which are also unchanged and still busy.
There is still plenty of scope for nudity and the place is still very active. The last time I was there, I just dropped my tracksuit bottoms in one of the clearings and had 3 takes within 10 minutes!
