Description: Wensum Park is located beside the River Wensum on Drayton Road, to the north of Norwich City centre. One of a series of formal parks it opened after World War I in 1925. A hundred years on and it is currently undergoing a major restoration program after years of neglect and this has cleared much of the wooded area scrub that once provided cover. The old toilet block is also to be converted into modern single occupier unisex units. The park is once again becoming very popular with families during the day, so any cruising fun here must now be restricted to after dark, although any discreet corners are now scarce.
