Description: Set back from A689 traffic. A long 'parking area' although not signed to indicate that from A689; in fact, the only sign of any layby is the large painted arrow on the road right next to the turn-in. After passing through Newton Bewley just stay at 50mph and looks out for the slip-road. The council and local police have worked together to remove a lot of the trees and bushes from the island that provided cover here and the spot is monitored by the police.
