Description: The Butterfly Trail/Maidenhead Thicket is a large maze of wild, dense woodland and undergrowth with countless well-worn paths. It is very cruisy, particularly afternoons and weekends and dusk.
There are several places to park:
(1) Maidenhead Thicket car park on Henley Road and walk over footbridge over A404 (2) A4 Bath Road in the two laybys and then cross road (3) Pinkneys car park [see separate listing] and a 10 minute walk
Do NOT cruise in the car parks or by the road. Cruising only occurs over the footbridge from Maidenhead Thicket main car park, to the left, right or straight on once you come off the bridge.
