Description: The cruising area is a wide strip of land about half a mile long. The boundaries of the main cruising area are Bridge Valley Road, Circular Road and edge of the Avon Gorge. There is a wide grass verge, then there is a dense thicket of woodland criss-crossed with little paths that exist due to cruisers. There is a fence in the woodland at the edge of the gorge to stop you from falling over the edge. You could say that there could be cruising along the edge of the Gorge from the Clifton Suspension Bridge, past the Observatory, crossing Bridge Valley Road into the main cruising area, and walking along the fence that stops you falling into the gorge until you reach the promenade which has public toilets which is where the affluent houses of Sneyd Park begin.
