Description: A strip of woodland to the east side of the Cathkin Braes wind turbine. Park in two laybys on Cathkin Road, which are located just after the wind turbine on your left but before the golf course (if coming from Carmunnock or Castlemilk direction), and walk into the woods. Trails lead through the bushes and trees to clearings and to sex dens. There is a dumped mattress. If you are in the correct section of the woods, you should always be able to see and hear the wind turbine to your left. The woods become bare in winter, but cruising is still possible then, you just have to go further in. Summer is ideal when the leaves are on the trees and the place has dense vegetation. If you walk further through the woods, you can enjoy fantastic views over Glasgow and the mountains in the north.
