Description: North Rim Trail. A secluded and not well traveled trail at Alum Rock park. The trail head is just up the hill from the beginning of the main (Penitencia Creek) trail which starts at the parking lot / restroom area (note, the restrooms are NOT cruisy) The North Rim Trail is just around the curve from the main trail. Look for a small brown post on the left which marks the trail. Action seems to take place in the first part of the trail which is shaded and surrounded by shrubs on both sides. Plenty of warning if anyone else is coming from either direction.
