Description: A large state park that has good places to cruise along the path to the beach.
Two good outdoor spots at the park are (1) "Hawk Watch" (aka Pavilion) just to the north of McBride Beach Bathhouse (see photo) and (2) the sandy trails just beyond the unpaved parking area at the fishing pier.
