Description: This spot is a stretch of road running parallel to the South Umpqua River. There are several pull-outs here, where you can park and enjoy car play. There is also a parking lot across the river next to the cemetery; access from Harvard Ave. There is usually a lot of foot traffic here.
There are trails leading off to the left, just after the paved area. Watch out for people walking these trails. There are fewer people there when dusk comes on.
Be aware that there can be homeless people camping by the trails.
